Yeah, i am a bit obsessive, and i am not saying sorry for that. I love what i do, i love cake decorating. Even if i am not making cakes, i think about cakes or cake decorating. Where ever i am, i am thinking about cakes. I shops i look at stuff like, can i use this for my cakes? Has this shop anything to do with cakes, can i make this shop have anything to do with cakes? The funny thing is that the people arround me are being dragged into my obsession. I once read this quote by somebody i don't know: live a live where you don't need a vacation from". WIth other words do what ever you like, and live the life you truely want to live. Although i am not a professional, that does not mean that i am not forfulling my dreams. You don't have own a shop to an artist.
Okay back to toppic. Today i was i a book store and bought two coloringbooks, yes those things kids use to break there pencils on. There is so much you can do with a coloringbook as an cake artist. I love to little finds, they really make me happy and that make you cakes unique. Try to look at things differtently. Don't see the play doh kits witht he little molds as kids toys, look at the kit and think, can i use this while caking (the moulds, not the clay haha).
