Almost every cake decorator/ artist use medical cloves to prevent food coloring to stick to your hand or/ and hygiene purposes. I use them to, but i had to find the good ones. I used different gloves, but they were never "good enough". Most of them get sticky when the get in touch with fondant of buttercream, and tear very easily.
Now found, what think the perfect gloves. They feel strong, see through and powder free, what is a a must. Today i used them for the first time (size s) and the fit really good, not to wide or to tide. If they are to wide you can loos grip on what ever you are making, and they are to small, it will hurt your fingers. The ones i found are from the brand: Abena. They are officially made for medical professions and not sterile. i found them at my local cake shop, and there are 100 pcs in a box. I thought they were pretty expensive, about 10 euro a box, but after using them i think they are worth the price.
They say they are for single use, but you can easily use the gloves multiple times.
