Edible lace.

and then there is something like edible lace. I love how it looks on cakes, so elegant, so stylish. Well not happening here...this stuff no matter the brand, hates me. There is no way in this cake world that i can make it work, it just doesn't happen. So freaking frustating, it drives me insane. I decided that for now, i leave it for what it is and try to make up way that will give the same or almost the same result, with out using the stuff. I have a lot of "lace mats" at home, yeah the expensive ones, and they are laying their collecting dust. I found a technique (created by moi) with fondant that kind of works, but still not exaclty what i have in mind. So now i will use the Cricut Cake and play around with that. I hope that will suprise me, and i will lean how to pipe Royal icing, that gives also the look, i am looking for.

I just don't now what the heck it is with edible lace and me...
