There we go: I love it! So that was todays review...no joking (yeah i know my sence of humor is weird). I have been using Funcakes fondant ever since i started this cake decorating thing. Of course, the curious me tried other brands, and allthough most of them are good to, i stay with funcakes. Let me tell you why. It is soft enought to kneed easy, but not to soft that it feels like it is going to rip and break. There is an ingredient that hardens funcakes while drying, so that makes it very suitable for making flowers and figurines. It works pretty good when the weather is hot and dry, it could be better, but then again what works good when it feels like you are in the dessert trying to decorate a cake with sugar paste. The fondant is really easy to colour, and a big big bonus, since not so long they decided to deliver the fondant in plastic containers. Before they came in grey carton boxes, what meant that you fondant dries out because you can't reclose a carton box. I am so exited that it now comes in a plastic container.
I have to tell that every cake artist has its own standarts when it comes to fondant. While one person absolutely love it when their fondant is really really soft, while the other, like me, don't like that at all. What ever rocks your cake uhmm world.
