Sometimes there are cakes that i am not sure of. This was such a cake, The monsterbook of Monsters, from the Harry Potter movies. The idea is not that diffcult, but that is the tricky part. So i decided to make a trial version before i going to start making one from real cake. As aspected i ran in to some difficulties while making the cake. First of all, the way to put the fondant on, so that it looks like the book, but also making the fur of the the book. If you look at the "real" book, you will see that it is hairy, how in worlds name do create a similair look on fondant. I found a technique, what i am not going to reveal. It included a toothpick and a crazy cake artist.
