Wedding cakes, a whole different kind of cake. I would love to give you a word of advice. I have different kind of view on wedding cakes. The majority of the couples settle for what they come across on the internet. Most of the cakes are amazing, but people forget that every wedding cake is personal. Copying your wedding cake, from a cake you came across on the internet is not very personal. Use what you come across on the internet als een guideline, as inspiration. Write down what you like on you cake, what are your wishes. What makes you, you. Think about things like your favorite color(s), hobbies, where did you guys meet etc.
To give you an idea. The next cake was for a couple who met 15 years ago on a beach. They have to beautiful kids and love the color red. They both like flowers and a clean, white (traditional cake).
So what did i do, i made a huge cake that represented their life together, lots of flowers that ran in a cascade down the cake, and the color red. We used cakes we saw on pinterest as inspiration and worked from there.
